What is Reiki?

Reiki is a hands-on, holistic energy healing modality which works with the entire person, body, mind and spirit. It is safe, gentle and non-invasive and can be used to compliment other means of healing - either medical or alternative. The Japanese word Reiki breaks down into two words: Rei meaning Universal and Ki, which is life force energy flowing through all living things. It is believed that when there are imbalances in this energy that illness and disorders occur. By utilizing Reiki, we can help to restore balance and allow the body to heal naturally: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

What is a Reiki Session like?

During a typical Reiki session, the client will lay on massage table, fully clothed. The practitioner will channel the energy and usually go through a series of hand positions, lightly touching or a few inches above the body, lingering on those areas where it is felt more energy is needed. Most clients report feelings of warmth or heat, sometimes tingling, and usually a feeling of very deep relaxation and peace.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki creates a feeling of deep relaxation and helps the body to release stress and tension. When this occurs, it accelerates the body’s own self-healing ability. Some of the reported benefits have been:

Who can do Reiki?

Anyone can learn to tap into and utilize Reiki energy, or as we say, “Be attuned”. It is usually done by attending a class or series of classes in which you will receive a Reiki attunement. You will then be able to give Reiki to yourself and to others.

Hours vary and appointments can be made for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy:

A credit card is required to guarantee your appointment and a 24-hour notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling. Without 24-hour notice, you will be charged the full amount of the scheduled appointment.
