sEMG (Surface Electromyography)
What is an sEMG (Surface Electromyography)
sEMG measures how much energy is needed to maintain your health and how it is distributed throughout the muscles and body. It measures how your motor nerves are working and this is the part of the nervous system that controls muscles & movement. The more your muscles contract, the more electrical activity there is. The sEMG measures the amount of muscle tension or weakness which may indicate stress to your nervous system
sEMG KEY
The sEMG Scan shows the amount of stress and tension held within the paraspinal musculature (muscles along the spine).
BLACK=very high stress
RED=high stress
BLUE=moderate stress
GREEN=minimal stress
WHITE=within normal limits
YELLOW=below normal limits
Before 8/16/22
After 12/122
This practice member started with an extreme amount of stress and tension in the neck and shoulders. Black lines signify very high stress and after 3 times a week for 8 weeks, both of those black lines have reduced significantly and the areas of yellow have decreased too signifying more energy in places that had too little.
Before 11/15/21
After 2/1/22
This practice member started with some areas of stress and tension in the neck and shoulders. After 3 times a week for 8 weeks those areas were reduced moving from red to blue and green.
Before 11/16/21
After 3/29/22
Before 11/15/21
After 2/1/22
This practice member started with some areas of stress and tension in the neck and shoulders. After 3 times a week for 8 weeks those areas were reduced moving from red to blue and green.
This practice member started with a huge black line in the C1 area of the spine (lots of pressure on the brainstem) and after immersion care that area demonstrated a significant reduction in tension there and also in other areas of the spine too.
Before 10/4/22
After 1/19/23
